Music Mondays is thrilled to jumpstart its new season with a performance by “the nation’s leading wind ensemble,” (New Yorker) the Imani Winds. Nominated for a Grammy Award in 2006 (for their CD, The Classical Underground), the Imanis are leaving a deep imprint on the wind quintet genre through their charismatic playing, creative programs, and ambitious commissioning projects.
