“Revelatory” mezzo-soprano Tamara Mumford (New York Times) joins several musicians from the great Metropolitan Opera Orchestra for music by opera composers Mozart, Rossini, Bizet, and Puccini, alongside a new arrangement of Debussy songs by Jake Heggie, whose Dead Man Walking was scheduled to appear at the Met this season. A selection of cabaret songs by American composer William Bolcom rounds out the program.
