Joshua Gindele, cello

Isidore Quartet:

The “furiously committed” Miró Quartet (New Yorker) is one of America’s most celebrated ensembles. A longtime favorite at the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center, they were GRAMMY-nominated in both 2024 and 2025. They are joined by the “exceptional” Isidore String Quartet (Chicago Classical Review), recipient of the 2023 Avery Fisher Career Grant. The first half of their program features each quartet separately in music by Haydn (Miró Quartet) and a new work by Billy Childs (Isidore Quartet), and in the second half they join forces for Mendelssohn’s exuberant Octet.
